Introduction to reflexology

Oriental medicine

Currently, the success of official medicine is undeniable. One of the main tasks facing medicine is to identify the disease at an early stage, which will allow treating people much more effectively. As before, the problem of medicine remains the understanding of what a disease is, what are its causes and what needs to be done so that it does not arise. Modern medicine made a significant step forward when doctors realized that it was not promising to treat a separate organ, since the whole organism fell ill, therefore, the organism as a whole needed to be treated. In this regard, increased interest in oriental medicine, where the treatment was focused specifically on the entire body.

Doctors had to deal with such concepts as energy meridians and channels. The idea of the body not only as a physical, but also as an energy system, began to gradually enter into the understanding of every doctor. According to Eastern medicine, a person is primarily an energy system that interacts with the whole world. Further development of official medicine led to the realization that the essence of the disease is a decrease in immunity, and even oncological diseases are based on disorders of the immune system. The immune system is connected with the energy of the body and depends on it.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture, manual therapy, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, hypnosis and some other methods of treatment are non-drug.

The acupuncture method (zhen-jiu therapy, zhen-prick, tszyu-heating) is gaining more and more popularity. It has shown itself to be an effective way to treat diseases of the peripheral nervous system and internal organs.

Acupuncture can cure approximately 250 diseases.

The main advantage of the method is that no chemicals enter the body during treatment, it is an “environmentally friendly” method of treatment. On the contrary, prolonged use and abuse of drugs can lead to various allergic diseases and even destroy internal organs. Zhen-jiu method of therapy is widely used in Asian and Eastern countries.

Treatment does not require expensive equipment, special operating units, expensive drugs.

It activates the body's defenses to fight against diseases.

Our body has a great potential for protective forces, but, unfortunately, they may not manifest themselves, remain in a “preserved state” for a long time.

Many disorders of the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and other systems are based on neuro-reflex disorders, which can be influenced reflexively by acting on certain acupuncture points.

To make the hidden potentials of living organs and tissues work, the body is affected by acupressure, acupuncture, the heat of a smoldering cigar, a magnet, psychotherapy, hypnosis and other methods.

Man is an electrical system

There are certain laws that govern the movement of electric current inside the human body.

The body is an electrical system where there is:

  • electricity generator. The body of man and animal has its own "power plants": the brain, heart, retina, inner ear, taste buds, etc.;
  • conductors, "power lines": peripheral nervous system, nerve branches of various thicknesses;
  • objects of partial absorption of biocurrents (“consumers” of biocurrents): brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, endocrine glands, muscles, etc.;
  • objects of complete absorption of biocurrents, "absorbers" of ballast electricity in the form of biologically active points located under the skin.

The teaching of acupuncture and warming points implies that the movement of energy in the human body is carried out along the meridians.

It is believed that there are 12 paired meridians (on the right and left halves of the body) and 2 unpaired.

In the modern concept, the meridian is a trajectory of electric currents along the human skin, passing through all the acupuncture points belonging to this meridian.

According to the teachings of Confucius, the whole world consists of 5 primary elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water.

Further, the doctors-philosophers divided 12 meridians into two and assigned the VB and F meridians to the Wood element, the four meridians IG, C, TR, MC to the Fire element, the RP and E meridians to the Earth element, the P and GI meridians to the Metal element. , behind the element Water - meridians R and V.

According to the ancient philosophy of Wu-Sin about the 5 primary elements, in nature there is an eternal cycle of elements: Wood, when burned, gives rise to Fire, Fire melts the Earth (ore) and creates Metal from it, they dig wells and irrigation facilities with a metal shovel and get Water. Water is absorbed by the roots of Trees and gives us life. Trees are burned again and the cycle of events is repeated. Chi energy makes endless cycles along the 12 meridians of the body. Moderate irritation of sensitive endings, concentrated at certain points of the skin, muscles and other tissues, normalizes the strength, mobility and balance of the processes of excitation and inhibition.

12 meridians

On the body of each person there are many biologically active points - meridians, which are combined into an energy channel. During the day, energy passes through the channel to feed the organs of the physical body. Each meridian has energy for 2 hours. Energy begins to circulate in the meridian of the lungs from 3 to 5 hours. Then the energy moves into the colon channel from 5 to 7 o'clock, and so on. The maximum is reached at the moment of energy passage, the minimum - after 12 hours. Knowing the maximum and minimum stay of energy in the channel is important for choosing the time of direct or indirect impact on the channel.
